Over the next couple of weeks, close to 2,000 Grade 8 students will bid goodbye to their elementary schools while another 3,200 Grade 12 students will be leaving our school system to pursue new opportunities and new paths of learning.
Despite the disappointment of cancelled in-person graduations and proms, we still found ways to celebrate your achievements this month: the learning, the triumphs, the challenges, the experiences, the adventures, the friendships and the memories amassed over your years in our schools.
We hope you look back on your time with us with great fondness and joy.
To our incoming Grade 9’s, we look forward to seeing the great things you will do as you begin your high school years. To our graduating students, thank you for letting us be part of your lives.
As you graduate to the next phase of your life, we want you to know how proud we are of each and every one of you. Congratulations. May your future be full of promise, purpose and possibility.
